Yes. When the lid is in the closed position, the mug is 100% leakproof.
- How do i know if the lid is in the closed position?
The mug is unsealed when the lid is in the pressed-down position. This can take some getting used to, so there's text on the top moulding to remind you that "Down is Open". Sometimes it is best to think of the lid as a plunger, where the water is let through when the plunger is down.

Top notch travel mug
I bought this as a gift, and now I want my own, I have bought from some of the premium brands of travel mugs, but there was always something not quite right- they weren’t leak proof, or they’re awkward to drink out of (the lid/lip feel is weird), or not insulated, or not drop-proof, or don’t have environmentally friendly design. This ticks ALL the boxes. They even customised my message (which was longer than standard). I emailed them, and they responded within 24hrs, easy to order the custom mug, and arrived quickly. It’s made from recycled materials, and looks sleek, fits in your car cup holder and is nice to hold. 100% recommend. Thank you for creating such a great product!

Lid is a little hard to clean worried its getting milk and water trapped inside , and for the price point i was expecting it to be a bit better quality to be honest dont like the foam piece in the base of the cup

I loved the Moon coffee cup, the fact that you can drink from any angle & when it says it's leakproof, it sure is. One down side, is that I find it a bit heavy when their is liquid in the cup & you are carrying it in your bag. Other than that, I would recommend it buying it
